Okay bike has set for about four weeks fired it up last night, temp was about 50 so I pulled up the enrichener. Bike fired and went up to 2000 RPM and had a knock that sounded like it was coming fom the front top end. Closed the enrichener the knocking stopped and used the throttle to keep runing until warm road the bike a distance and everthing sounded okay.
Started again tonight and same thing. Pulled the plugs and the front plug is black and the rear plug looks good.
Bike has never done this before and this is the first time I can remember using the enrichener this year.
Enrinchener? Failing lifter? or worse? Bike has run fine all summer, just has been sitting for about 4 weeks. Bike has just shy of 4000 miles.
