K9 Shocks how long do the last?

How many miles are you guys seeing the stock shocks last?

I just had my trans out for a rebuild so I replaced the stock shocks with the chrome ones from Wild Steel Works.

The shocks feel like they give the bike a lot more suspension than the factory shocks and or my stock shocks were worn out. I have about 22000 miles on the factory shocks but they felt stiff compared to these

I have 27k on my 07 K9 with air ride. Still good.

Last year I put a set of Progressive HEavy Duty ajustable coil spring shocks on my 2003 BDM Chopper. I had no idea my originals were so far gone! The new Progressives are adjustable, and gave the dog a whole new feel! It rides SO MUCH BETTER !!! I researched the air ride suspensions a lot. I talked to Eddie Trotta about the air ride. He said, if it is a rider bike go with the spring shocks. If it is a show bike or a bike getting few miles then go with the air.
