Another calculation...
If you lost 5,000 miles that would make your mileage 70,000. So, if you use those numbers you get 70,000 miles divided by 900 hours which would put your average speed at 77.7 MPH!
In reality there's time spent sitting still at idle, riding 25 to 35 MPH through towns, higher speeds on the highway, and everything in between. A more realistic average speed (and this is a guesstimate) would probably be more like 30 MPH. Since the mileage is most likely accurate that would mean the time is way off and would have to be something more like 2,333 hours!
Kind of makes you wonder what the parameters really are that the EHC is recording doesn't it?
