Look on the down tube stickers  if they have been removed I would go with 40 up front and 42 in the rear, that is what the service manual calls for on 06 K-9 and I don't think yours would be much different.

each to their own but i like 38 in the front and 40 in the back on my Bulldog. As a tip there is a search function so please search for any answers you want as much of the stuff has been covered a million times. Some on here get a bit touchy about that sort of thing. Congrats on the new bike and welcome to the site.

Thanks for the tips. I will use the search next time.
Hey, welcome to the site. Just saw you picked up a K-9. Enjoy that thing, it's a great ride. Keep you battery charged up and it will prevent a lot of issues down the road.
Check out the Recall section and ensure all the upgrades have been completed on it. You can send BDM you VIN and they will tell you what has and hasn't been completed.

Enjoy

Im running 30 lbs. in my 250 and have almost 14,000 on the original tire. Im looking at changing it this week though. And they have been some hard miles on it also. I just hope I can get some where near that out of the next one. I changed the front tire at about 10,000.

When you take it out for the first time with the new tire you'll be amazed at how it handles!!!!! You dont notice over that many mile how the ride changes. I got 11,000 out of mine.:whoop:

yup...40/42 - per manual, downtube sticker and what's printed on the sidewall of the tires themselves.
ENJOY your K9 - it's an awesome machine!!!:whoop:
