Have a 2008 K-9, just rolled 1500 miles on the bike. Got back from a 80 mile scoot and the next morning noticed a small puddle of oil under the oil tank. Checked into the cause an found two of the three oil lines at the oil tank end finger tight. These lines have never been off and were either not tight from Big Dog or vibrated lose in those 1500 miles. Either way a 11/16 corrected the problem. Might want to check yours it could have been a real bad day.:2thumbs:

Wouldn't Big Dog Locktite those lines? Anyone know?

Not if they are flare fittings. Do not use sealant, nor loctite on flare fittings.

Thanks for the 'heads-up"! I just rolled over 1700 miles on mine and if anything from the factory's going to vibrate loose, it's probably about right now...better check it over carefully!
