I did the blue and gold leaf on the Harley and a friend did the mural. That was 40 years ago. I did all the molding with fiberglass instead of Bondo and that is the only reason it still looks good . It has got close to 300 thousand miles on it. Took the motor out to 96 inches in 1984 and it still runs strong. Harmon front ends are still being made by a company in Sacramento to the same specs. as the original ones except they are being made now with inch and quarter steel instead of 1 in. That front end is the only one I found that does not pogo like a springer or girder. Just have to add 90 wt. grease to the forks about once a year. The lines for the front discs run down the inside of the forks.
