Is buying a bike 15 hours away a realistic option

So I found the bike I want at the price I want and talked to the seller on the phone.
Problem is, it's 15 hours away and I have fear of flying (unless absolutely necessary).

I can have him FaceTime the startup and workings of the bike and have a bike moving company collect the bike.
The question is how to make the payment and title transaction?

I guess what I'm looking for, if one exists, is a "motorcycle buying company" that will evaluate the bike, pay the seller, collect the title, and accept payment for the bike and their services upon delivery to me.

Has anyone done this before (from an individual, not a dealer) or is this completely unrealistic?

In the Potters hand...
I purchased a bike exactly 15 hours away from me. I’m in FL bought in IN. A member, (mjsk9), that was close, (somewhat), was good enough to go inspect and even rode the bike for me, took pics and called me to discuss in detail what he found and what he thought. I drove to IN only after he gave me his honest opinion, (seller would not do business otherwise and price/color was what I wanted). There are good folks on here who will help you out, bear in mind one look at a bike won’t tell you everything, but if the bones are good, this group can get you through the process of getting the rest of the bike right. Ball’s in your court.

I bought a bike off eBay from Kansas, paid with PayPal and had shipping company pick it up. Took about a week after I bought it to get it. Went smooth

Call Shawn at Outlaw Cycles in Covington, LA. He is maybe a lil more than an hour away from Columbia, I'm about 3 hours. He may know of such a company then again maybe not but worth a phone call. He buys and sales lots of Big Dogs. I bought mine from him. Paypal prob the way to go

Ehhh...I think the closest member is Hew? Down in New Orleans. Probably almost 2 hrs?

Who you thinking is closer?

2 HRS is close relatively soeaking. I drove 4 hrs one way to pick up a set of pipes for a member. Calling the above mentioned shop might be his best option.

The total length of my truck with the tailgate down is 97".
The reported wheelbase of the 2007 Pitbull is 78" (I would ask the seller to measure this to ensure accuracy).
Add another foot for the front wheel and we're at roughly 90" which *should* fit in my truck.
Worst case scenario I drive down 15 hours, I really don't want to, I detest driving.
He's considering cash on top of my bike which would make the deal far more attractive to me, ride down 15 hours, ride back 15 hours.

07pitbull won't fit in your truck you would need prob a 20 Ft ramp. It's too low to the ground. Unless you can find a hill that you can use as leverage these bikes don't get into the bed a pickup without some serious foresight

Exactly, I couldn't imagine trying to load a big dog in the back of a truck. Length and weight would be a bitch and a half

U-haul, OR! Is there a member willing to ride it up for a plane ticket back home
That's quite an ask but if so yeah done deal.

I'm mentally prepared to rent a trailer, take a chance that the bike is kosher, trust the ratcheting straps (I've had straps loosen twice before), and muscle out 30 hours in a truck.

If he accepts my trade then that makes the decision so much easier
