My 1999 Bulldog on the end of the inverted forks there's a unique looking square housing holding each down tube at the front wheel hub approx 5-6" inches in length, can they easily be taken apart and then re-chromed, the flat face chromed areas are chipping away, poor design for road debris. I know the next question would be if i were to disassemble them.. what tool apparatus would i need to properly re-align the front tire? Does anyone have such experience? Thanks
