I did the search BS and can't find it. I remember seeing it a few days back but this K9 I just took delivery on.....Battery went cowshit on me. I put a whole 2 miles on it since I've owned it. It's an '07 so I bet the battery is it's original. Interstate is most common around here and I need the bike Saturday for our Air and Bike show.....

my experience with interstate= bought the first one, it left me stranded within the first couple days. took it back, they load tested it and it was bad. they replaced it with another and this time they put it on an overnight charge. guess what! stranded.:angry: found out their 310 cca battery is nothing more than somebody else's re-badged 270 cca battery with the interstate name on it.:angry::angry: will NEVER buy interstate again.

if that is all you can find, go for it. just be aware.

Go to the Harley dealer and get a softail battery. Both my scoots have been running fine on them with no issues. Take your old battery in with you and have them match it up for size, plus you can leave the old battery with them to discard... :D :2thumbs:

I bought my bike with 4,000 miles and it had an interstate battery in it. Two years and 14,000 miles the interstate battery still performs well. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. Initially I wanted to change it out but I ended up leaving it. I also keep it on a tender 24/7.

I also installed an Interstate battery and am not satisfied with it. It starts the bike fine, but you can't keep the post bolts tight. You have to tighten them after every ride. Too much of a pain for me.
