I live in Vancouver, BC and would love to import a k-9 to canada. Does any one know if I could import a 2006 bigdog from the US, since they are now selling 09 in Canada, & of course I would do the modifications that would be neccesary on the bike, BigDog still isn't on the list for importing, any idea when they might be?
Thanks

are you aware that BDM is no longer in existence? best thing for you to do is to check with some of the members that live in Canada and see what they had to go through to be legal. some went to the expense/trouble of disassembling the scoot in the US and then re-assembling once in Canada and registering it as a custom build.

Yea only one post and gone just figured maybe an update by now
Here's an update..it's not necessary to disassemble the bike and register it as "home built", simply need to go through the ministry of transportation for importation rather than the registrar of imported vehicles. I have done this with two bikes now, also Sue's Tejas is not on the admissible list for import into Canada but once a vehicle is over 15 years old it does not go through the riv program and is very simple to import. If anyone is interested in importing a BD or AIH into Canada, PM me if you'd like more info on the process.
