Im digging the chopper. I like the drop seat. Ive been entertaining the idea of cutting my frame and installing a drop seat. Lay the battery down and remove any electronics not needed. Maybe lengthen the frame about 10 inches and mount the battery like Bourget does.

1) If I just bought a Bourget, than someone else would have the same bike. How is that custom?
2) Bourgets store oil in the frame. Though a neat idea, it limits quantity to less than 3 quarts. I'd have to build a little tank.
Perhaps my definition of "custom" is just a little different than other peoples.

i ain't no expert bike Mechanic now but i am pretty sure that plug wires, gas tank and a belt would be needed to make her go, way 15 k for that when you can get a flat black k9 for less and still have money left over to paint it all nice

In the "old" days in my chopper shop we would take a Harley frame, tear it down, cut off all the mounts, rake the neck, mold the frame, cut the fenders and tanks and extend the springer. Then we got custom made frames, fenders, springers and quit that shit. When you mod a frame you had better know what you are doing because the engineering of the frame is a science and one mistake could cost you your life. Each angle/weld in a frame is meant to take stress/move stress and unless you know engineering you are better off buying an engineered frame to start with. Just lowering the seat part of the frame could weaken the rear frame and a good pot hole could have your butt on the ground. Good luck....
