I'm retarded help...

Hey All,

I have finally gotten around to the "flip of the plate"
How do I get the wiring and led board of the plate so I can drill?
I took the screw out and the only way I see is to go back
through the center hole where the wiring is coming from. 1 problem
it doesn't fit???I'm sure I'm just having a moment but some advice would
be helpful...

Thanks that is what I printed out to follow along but
I can't get it away from the wiring??????????????

As I remeber on mine I beleive I had to pull back some of the wiring. Also don't forget to seal the small hole at the top where water can get in.

If you can't get the the bracket to line up just use some zip ties to hold it on

I didn't completely remove the wiring when I did mine. I just loosened the light up, moved the wiring to one side, and drilled the holes, using a piece of 2x4 underneath.

Gas had his completly off because thats when he was stripping his bike down and he got his tag and bracket chromed...so he had to have the whole thing apart...

Dave got it right. I'm sure you can do it many ways. But remember you can seperate the LED section... and pull the backing plate. I suggest this anyway. Have you ever had a piece of metal like that "catch" on a hand held drill? if you have, you would take it completely off.
