Idea for using the stock header ?

Has anyone tried using the stock header from supertrapp and just added possibly some stainless for a set of pipes ? I don't know why that would be any different than straight pipes. Some of you metal fab guys please chime in.

Several on here just took off the stock mufflers and placed them with super trapp slip-ons... So yeah you can do it...
