WOO HOO!!

I finally found some pipes for my dog! I saw someone had a post about these not too long ago. How'd you like'em? Also, these were for an HD softail, will they fit my 03 Pitbull with the same mounting bracket?

I'm pretty excited to be changing out of my stock pipes!
:whoop:

They should fit but I had to weld a small tab to the frame to mount on my 03 chopper. The bracket they provide is about 1/4 of an inch thick and because of the widened frame it just won't fit in there right. I'ts still a tight fit with the home welded tab, you can slide a sheet of paper between the pipe anfdthe frame and that's it.

Thanks fellas! Yeah I'll post pics as soon as I get the pipes in.

I've been looking for some pipes for a while now. I wanted to go with something other than a 2n1, but being on a tight budget these looked like better quality pipes than the ones I could afford.

I'll see how it fits when I get'em next week. I might need some suggestions from you guys if it gets tight.

Thanks again.

This may be a little of topic but,,,,,,, The forbidding pipes look great!
The add on Ebay say's in dyno tests these pipes add 13 horse (for stock bikes).

Is this the normal horse power gain? , Seems pretty good to me.
Im big on the 2into1 because of performance.

Also the 11" XZOTIC LAKE EXHAUST PIPES look similar.
Do they do well in dyno testing?

I Love the looks of all of these.

mud, I think another thing Sul is trying to point out, that everybike, every location, every dyno, every pipe and every day will produce different dyno numbers. Just find a pipe that looks good, sounds good, and peforms well enough for you. Or just performs and then maybe looks good/sounds good.

the 2:1 or 2:4:2:1 or basically anything that isn't 2:2 will perform better. Its the added back pressure you get from the other pipe/cylinder.

For me its that I don't like the sound of anything but a 2:2 pipe. I like to hear each cylinder fire. Plus I like the looks of seperate pipes.

So like I said... check out the pipes. get something cool/hot/whatever...

bottom line... to each their own

Your both right I know, I'm just going crazy looking at so many damn pipes.
I really think I'm losing it.
And I know the questions asked were simple.
With my night train it was easy I did not 2 guess my self.
But know I'm over thinking simple things.
Pipes are starting to look similar.:bang:
Anyway I will deal with it on my own now.
Show you gents what I got later.

Hey brother gimme about a week and I'll let you know how they run. I got a stock 03 pitbull so not sure if there will be any performance improvement from the stock 2n1.

I'm with Gas though, I MUCH prefer the look AND sound of 2:2 pipes. I'm not really about the performance, but these pipes look a bit different and for the small budget I was on I think these were the best pipes I could find.

Soooo, hopefully I won't have to work too much magic to get these bad boys to fit
