I think I fried my bike... 2000 Pro Sport

Energy One
Good looking ride. Nice paint. I hav a 99 Pro Sport and still a lot to learn about it. bought it from private party. 1st time to own this type of ride. Always liked them. Had been sitting. I had to drain tanks and clean and flush numerous times due to gobs of rust in tanks, mostly right side. It popped a lot when decelerating. knew nothing about these types of carbs. Dwn loaded carb info from this site. So I ajusted carb air mixture, accelerator pump ajustmnt, and reset idle and solved the popping and bad idle. Big difference. It was running too rich.

Get a good battery not a cheap interstate one. You need high cranking amps to turn over that 107 without compression releases. Also get a digital volt meter so you can check you're charging system. There are plenty of threads on the forum about this. Got any pics of you're bike?
It all goes bad at once, it seems. Stator, VR, battery, maybe even the coil. All inexpensive bolt on parts from any v-twin shop. Don't over think it, just test 'em.
