I think I found my oil leak

Energy One
I've noticed small puddles of fairly clean oil (so at least I know my bike isn't nasty on the inside) under the Pitbull when I move it around in the garage to do stuff and got some cans of brake cleaner today to spray on the underside of the frame rails to get all the goop off and try and find the leak and from where the puddles are in relation to where the front tire stays parked, it seems to be near the front of the engine/trans/primary assembly and this area of the engine had a small bit of oil at the drain plug about to drop off onto the ground.

From what I can gather, this is the crankcase drain plug and it's not really supposed to be pulled. But apparently the o-ring that seals it has failed, or whatever type of thread sealant it may have had from the factory has failed so I need to know what is the advisable course of action from here when I go to change all the fluids?

I have never had an issue pulling the bottom end drain plug, do it every spring on the Tejas as it has more tendency to sump. I replace the O-ring every time since it's worth the 35 cents to save any aggravation. Never understood the concern with pulling the plug, follow torque specs and you will never have an issue or a leak.
