Sitting on the side of the highway in Washington, Pa about an hour an 45 mins from home. My shift lever basically vibrated apart and I don't have any wrenches on me today. One of the screws is gone but I still have one. Hopefully someone stops with some tools. I hope it doesn't rain

Can you still still actuate the shift arm with your foot or anything to get home? Or did you loose the whole assembly?

No tool bag while you ride, WOW thats like going scuba diving by yourself or having multiple sex partners without protection or......or

You got off lucky Ess. I got a flat on Saturday while out riding. This is the third rear tire in eight months. I'm not sure what is causing the gashing that my tires are receiving. I'm kind of thinking it's the bridge spans that we have here in Washington State. Well, it's good to see that you got the puppy home...:bang:

Dude, being stranded sucks! Hope you get going soon! Not to change the subject, but does anybody have AAA RV Plus, and if so, have you used it when stranded on a bike?

Several members on this site have AAA RV Plus. My insurance is pretty good at getting me back home. I have a limit of 75 miles, but i think AAA may have a few more miles that they offer...

I have it, haven't had to use it yet, AAA is the best money you can spend, we've used ours many times, lock outs, when the wife gets a flat etc.

Well I made it home. Some members of the War Dogs MC stopped and helped me with tools abnd lock-tight. I only lost one screw so at least that's all I have to replace. I def need to do a screw check tomorrow and retighten everything down. On the way home something was squeaking so I have to figure out what that is too.
