so when i bought my bike, the guy tells me he replaced the seat because the one he got with it was in rough shape. he gives me the old seat so i get it recovered...seat comes in...AND IT DONT FIT MY BIKE. i just assumed it was the same seat...looks the same. no stock number to be found. i will have to post pics and see if someone can identify the seat for me and maybe someone else could use it. the slides in and all looks good....but the sucktion cups are about 2 inches from the fender. just needed to vent

Actually, thanks for the thread!!!:2thumbs: I've got a seat to be recovered that I've never test fitted on my bike . . . running to the garage NOW!

Try adjusting the bracket under the seat. If it is similiar to the seat on my '09 K9, the bolts can be loosened and the bracket moved back and forth to make the suction cups touch the fender. Worth a look.

Doh! I could see where it could happen. I was at my BDM dealer lookin at the newest seats on the K9 and wondered if it would fit my bike. They said they didn't know but I could bring my bike down and try one on.

who covered the seat for you? Is it real leather? If so, it's probably the wrong gauge of thickness for the sides and bottom.
