I removed previous battery several months ago and can’t remember how to reattach. There are 4 positive and 4 negative wires. New battery is a Motocross Platinum Elite AGM GYZ20HL. Does it matter if all positive and negative wires are attached together on side mount or top mount. Thanks

On Yusua and other batteries the ???20L is the 280CCA the ???20HL is the high ca[acity listed either as 310 or 320 depending on company and which standard (of 4) that they use to do CCA testing. Deka just does the 310 I believe and doesn't do the weaker version in same size as far as I know.

Hopefully this is the last question regarding battery cable hookup- 2009 Mastiff (carb). Does the 15 amp fuse hookup to positive or negative mount Also, how do I determine which wire is the main lager gage wire. Thanks so much

A fuse always goes between the positive side + and the component it is protecting. As for the size of the wire, it will be obvious which is the biggest. Both the + and - side of the battery have visually larger cables. The red (+) cable will go to the starter and the black (-) cable will go to ground. The other wires have different functions but will be substantially skinnier.
In general it's a good policy to take pictures before disassembling any part of the bike your not familiar with. We have all regretted trusting our memories :D
