Reminds me of college. A friend had an old plymouth something with a slant six. Well the oil filter fell off on the way to school so we got the idea to cut the radiator hoses and drain the oil and see how long she would run. Fired it up and put a cinder block on the gas pedal. After 5 minutes or so it through the first rod and a piston flew out of the side of the engine! Then it threw another rod and kept running! By now it was smoking like crazy and we shut it off. That thing would still run on 4 cylinders. Couldn't believe my eyes.
