How long to wait for parts on b/o???

Just wondering if anyone has been waiting for parts as long as I have been waiting? I ordered a brake rotor last November (11/11/10 to be exact) and still haven't received it. I spoke to the local dealer that I ordered it from and they said BD Performance had contacted them to verify their back orders. My rotor was still on b/o when I last checked on it. In another month and a half, it will be 1 yr to have that rotor on b/o. Just looking to get other's opinions on this.

Sounds like BD Pissformance to me....
Ask them to have Shovelheadkicker send you one for your time...

IMHO, if you order BO parts it can be a long time and you end up cancelling. If it is not on back order, it comes pretty quick (i.e. a week to two).

Ask him what he thinks. How long ect....
you may want to look at other rotors by PM or DNA ect...

I waited 2 months for my clutch cable. Now that I have it, I've measured the cable and I'll buy it directly from Barnett next time. I've been locating as many specs on my bike as possible so I can just order standard parts from Dennis Kirk and J&P Cycle. Less of a pain, and I can keep my Dog running with less down time due to lack of parts.

If you look up under the brake rotor thread, I posted the phone number for a company called "QTM" in California, that made the rotors for Big Dog.
I ordered one from them and had it in three days, at the cost of $375.
Just google search QTM for the number.
If you still can't find the number let me know and I'll look it up.

Anyone know who used to make the luggage rack for the sissy bars? I have had one on backorder for several months. Apparently, a lot of venders who were left hanging are not interested in supplying parts for BDM Performance.
