How do you ride? Legs straight out or bent?

I just put the 2.5 extensions on my bike and it looks like I need about 2 more inches. Yea, no comments necessary:job:. I prefer my legs to be straight with very little knee bend. Just enough where I can push down on the pegs to get my ars off the seat during the long distance trips. Now my knees are still bent about 20 degrees. I'm only 6ft so I'm wondering how everyone else set their bikes up. Thanks.

"looks like I need about 2 more inches"

:roll::roll: that's what she said :roll::roll::roll:

I'm 6-5, have the extensions, need about 2 inches out of the back of my seat and my feet still hang over the pegs about 6" when I kick my legs out.

I am 6'6" and I have the same problem. I have the fwd controls and I like to ride with my legs fully extended. At the present moment they hang off about 6 inches in front of the pegs when fully extended. Is there any other solutions?

I thought that I needed 2 more inches myself, but the wife said I don't.

She said if I added two more inches she wouldn't be able to ride it anymore!!!

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

....what the hell were we talking about? :eek:

Oh yea... anyway, I am 5' 11" and no forward extensions, but did a different seat that sets me back about a inch or so. Knees slightly bent enough just to be comfy!

Must be something with those "SOFTY" rides ya'll have. Extensions on my ridgeback, I am 6' 3" and I struggle to hook my heals over the pegs.

I'm 6' 3" and just use the standard pegs. Comfortable with a little bend in the knee or the circulation gets cut off bit.

I sold my HD Heritage Classic Softail last November. After getting used to the Chopper, I find riding a Harley is like riding a Moped. :D:roll: I just didn't ride the Softail anymore at all.

You mean riding with roller skates strapped to your boots and using your feet as training wheels is no longer acceptable???:bang:

Yea, I figured as much from you all:flag:. I have some 3" Accutronix plates I'm going to mock up and see how they look. They are black now but I'll have to sand and polish them to see if they will blend in more. The only other pita is going to be this shift linkage.
