HOT Key

I did the Wire Plus and switch on my scooter and have no issues with the key getting hot like that. I did find that after a while the wire with the 30 breaker had a connection that had come loose. I got a little sputtering and guages were going nuts. Sense I corrected that issue the scoot is doing fine. Sounds like a simple fix.

Hi Everyone:

I need some assistance in a on going problem with my 09 K-9

The engine pings under load and I feel it is ignition timing and there is no adjustment with the Big Dog EHC set up

Can anyone assist me in making the correct choice for a new style, adjustable and reliable ignition and can I still se the EHC or do I need to replace it with a wire plus system?

Any help is very much appreciated

AJ

Huh. I'll have to try this too. I can't say my key gets excessively hot, but it can't hurt to manage the heat a bit.
Yes if you ever re ores the left side that hold the coil you might had lost the plastic washer that go under it before placing it back on the engine. I know I found one while working on that side and didn't know where it went so didn't put it back. With the help of Jake I replaced them and now no more hot key.
