HORN?

Should my bike have a horn? It has a button but i cant seem to locate where the actual horn it. I need to get the bike inspected, the 10 day is long up!

Mine was down behind the transmission on the right side, right in front of the swingarm. I was cleaning the bike one day and found it just laying in there, the bracket had broken off the frame. I tossed the whole mess, but I haven't gotten a bike inspected since '99.

If it did work it would probably sound like a moped horn the stockers do thank god for for loud pipes I never use mine

The horns were usually mounted behind or on the right side of the transmission. the mounts sucked and the horn typically jettisoned itself on the highway! Should be a yellow wire with a black stripe tucked in there somewhere...that's your horn wire.

Lay down on the ground and look under your bike.Thats where mine is located.

The horns are louder if you loosen up the nut on the backside...

The horn sounds like one you might find on a 3 year olds tricycle haha Get it inspected then toss that sorry ass horn into the junk pile
