Got a couple questions, prob not in the right spot here sorry bout that...

Rode my bike couple days ago and noticed the back bolt that holds down the coil cover was gone, and the front one was loose. Where can a person buy chrome Allen head replacement bolts?

Gas tank seems to be Shakin a lot. Is that normal? 06 mastiff. Doesn't seem to be super loose, but if you push down just slightly on the end closest to the seat you can feel and hear metal to metal hitting.

My local Ace Hardware has chrome allen head bolts. For the gas tank, make sure the mounts are tight. The mounts on my K9 have a rubber inserts to absorb vibration, perhaps those are worn out / become hard?

mjsk9 is right, check those rubber inserts. Mine are also becoming brittle and dry.

Doesn't sound right from your description but they do have vibrations compared to Jap or modern day British bikes. Find out what's loose and fix it.

Use lock tight on new cover bolts also

Don't forget this either. Its kind of a fiber style washer. It acts as a heat barrier. Keeps the coil cover from getting way too hot, sorta.....

Does it go underneath the coil cover or just under the bolt head?

It goes between the cover and the motor. PIA to place and hold steady....

ACE hardware, Lowes and Home Depot in the chrome bolt section. Anyone of them will have them and yes get the nylon washers, you need one under the front and one under the back mounts...
