Anyone have this problem yet? Rode all day yesterday and ended up at my dads (T-Byrd) when I got ready to leave went to turn on the high beam and it started to flash. I always turn on my high beam when riding in the day just to make sure other can see me. But when I went to turn it on it just flashed off and on, the whole time I had my finger on the button it was flashing...took the control apart there was a control board on the back side of the switches, woundering if it is bad? Anyone heard of this problem yet?

I think he said he was trying to get it to high beam... so that would mean high beam is out... still change the bulb!

Byrddog,

Sounds like the HI beam filament may have burnt out.

Doesn't the EHC monitor the HI/LOW beam circuits to tell you when they fail. If you HELD down the HI beam button, the EHC would switch to the HI beam but then sense it was burnt OUT, then return back to the LOW beam where it again sees the HI beam button is pressed then after a short delay start the cycle over again.

OR, the EHC HI beam current sense circuitry has failed to tell it the HI beam is ON.

When it flashes does it flash LOW-OFF-LOW or LOW-HI-LOW. If the HI and LOW beam filaments are functional then the EHC may be gone.

Just my logical guess! It's how I would design it to work.
