help with new front end

I'm going to purchase an inverted front end for my 07 Mastiff and I have looked at so many. My question is if I go with a 5 degree rake does that put the front tire futher away and if it does do I need to get the +4 length instead of the +2 or should I stick with the 3 degree rake/ +2 length like it is stock on the bike. I'm considering the Ultima 65mm, bikers choice 63mm, and the DNA 59mm. I'm only considering the DNA just because I can get one $400. I don't want the front tire to be closer than it already is. I could really use some help with the way all this works. I'm really considering the 65mm, but it only comes as either 0 or 5 degree rake. Thank You. Michael

IMHO, stick with the stock front forks. Although, I did really like the Arlen Ness 65 mm front ends. They were some stout forks but the BD forks look good also.

You'll need to go +2 from whatever you have now for 5* trees. So if you have +2 stock you'll need to get +4.

So the 5° puts the front tire further away from the bike and that's why I need to increase the tube length. Just making sure I understand it correctly.

Yes, as you move the front wheel out further, the front of the frame rails will drop.

Why not go with the 07 Bulldog inverted front end???? Don't think you have to change anything but the front fender because of the mounting brackets

keep an eye on your trail - increasing your rake will reduce your trail. Should be ok with what you're planning to do but you should still consider it
