HELP trans fluid problem

I must be missing something, where is the trans drain? Is it the small allen angled forward on the right side? I could'nt find anything in the service manual.

that sounds like it - go to the "how to" section and look up Gas Man's "How to service your Big Dog" thread - I think there's a picture of it in there

in the pic it is an allen head screw in a small square housing - directly behind where the clutch cable screws into the front drive belt pulley cover

Just FYI-

From my 2005 owners manual:

"Transmission Lubricant:
Big Dog Motorcycles recommends premium V-Twin motorcycle transmission lubricant. Harley synthetic lubricant is NOT recommended for use in Big Dog Motorcycles."


I'm trying out the redline heavy myself. I haven't been able to find it anywhere but online. If fact my shipment should come in tomorrow.
