Got my new xXx carb in today. I see Gasman's how to install but the link for How to remove carb is broken. Anyone have a how to remove carb?:flag:

First remove air cleaner and throttle cables.
To remove carb there are two allen head bolts on the back side of the carb.
They are vertical to each other. They hold the carb to the manifold.
You might have to remove your coil cover to get to them or try useing a swivel attachment to your ratchet .

Thanks so much.. I will try it... Even though I installed the wireplus myself with a how too... I am still a little scared to try installing the carb.. but I will go forth... I am in Italy and my only trustworthy mechanic died in a motorcycle accident... Thanks again for the quick response...

If you installed WP by yourself, a Carburetor should be a piece of cake especially on these bikes.

:2thumbs: Not hard but as said you may have to remove your coil cover to access the carb bolts.

I am going to attempt this tonight... finally finished final exams at school... at my age it is a crime to go back to school!!!!!! Damn oldest one in the class..
