HELP!!! FRONT END!!! NEW PICTURE...

I just bought this bike (07 big dog k-9) 6months ago and my mechanic won't work on them until he finds out what front is on the bike. Can anyone help me? I just need to know the brand and what it came off of?

Go talk to Rusty at OKC Custom Cycles. They are in Moore OK (405) 631-1133 they've done work for me and they're honest and fair. Just saw you were in the OKC area. PM me sometime we really need to get all these OKC dogs together for a ride.

Check Mean Street. What does the mechanic care who's front end it is? He takes it apart, looks at the seals, and orders new ones. If you can manage a picture that doesn't look like Ray Charles took it, you could probably do a reverse image search and track it down.

Mechanics an asshole. "Won't work on the bike if he doesn't know what front end is on it". Must have taken it to a Honda dealer.

No I believe he has it at OKC Thunder Cycles "Big Dog Dealer"
Take it to Rusty. Not that anythings wrong with OKC Thunder Cycles. I like the guys over there I just use them for certain things. Okie City Customs could probably get you right in and their labor rate is cheaper. Take it by and have Rusty look at it. Rusty will be doing some other work for me at the end of the month but I'll save that one up for another thread.

Oh the mechanics not that bad.He just has never seen that front end before and is scared to tear into it and damage something more. That he doesn't have to. I just wanted to be able to tell him what it is.So he could do the repair. So i can come home and ride with out my seals leaking.Their replacing my ecm as well as replacing my bars, and doing some powder coating. But then again he could just man up and fix the dam things! I checked the mean streets web site. I really didn't see a match there either.

Yeaaaaah. Find a good mechanic. Fuck'em if you have to do all the work. He should know. Nothing like a junk yard dog work on our purty macheeeeens.

I would just measure the tubes and go from there. If the tubes measure 41mm, then they are stock seals and OKC would have them? Or they could measure 43mm, then if they don't have seals for that size. I'm sure they can order them from Drag or JP Cycles. Most after market front end companies I have worked with seem to stay with those two sizes, just the outside tubes get the crazy sizes.

Ya i looked at the milwaukee twins. That doesn't look like a match either.I don't were all to look.Talked to mechanic today.Told him i trusted him to do it. That i'd hold myself liable if something was to happen. He said,he wouldn't work on front end until he knew what it was! My goodness i just wanna ride when i'm home!! I appreciate everyones help! As soon as i got off this post i googled it! I came up with american suspension!!!! I think it could be a match. They at least look the same. They got some pretty cool front ends to.
