Help Brethren! New clutch slippage

Energy One
Help brethren! Just put a new clutch in this damn thing and it worked great for about 2 days ....then 6th 5th and 4th started slipping again and now ya can barely get on it in any of those 3 gears. Where is my adjustment needed? The lever? The cable? The ball and ramp? Or the rod. And can a cable be broken and still work shortly? Also started lurching with clutch in , in 1st. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thx

Here are a couple of clutch adj procedures you can try. Let us know how you make out.

What oil did you put in the Primary and how much?
Wtf fluid, only cause if had good luck with it before. Normally spectro just not the time around. About a quart of atf tho at the moment and it's hard to shift , more then normal physically my left boot wore a hole in its cheap leather.

I just tried ATF in my vintage sport when I replaced the clutch pack. Did not like it at all. Drained it out 2 weeks later & put Lucas Chaincase Oil in. Much better clutch performance.

Sounds like the clutch hub nut is backing off and I would differently check that if I was you before more problem arrive..

Everyone runs different oil in there primary...I have run everything they make and cant tell any difference...I have even run Mobil 1 20w 50 with no clutch issues...hell my blue bike has 32,000 miles on it with mobil 1 20 50 in the primary and still the original clutch 20 years later...my other ones I'm running Schaffer primary oil.. just pick one that you like and roll with it

If you are only slipping in 4th up, that’s usually an indication the bearings are bad.

4th up are helical cut gears. The angle creates a side load, which will deflect the mainshaft and unload the clutch if the bearings are bad.

This is what happened to mine
