Occasionally get tiny black-like dots on my pipes too. Almost like little bitty rust pits, although that's just a guess (running Vance & Hines BR). For all I know could also be baked on tree sap or whatever. Not sure. All I know for sure is, use a super-mild billet polish to buff'em out/off. It's called "Simichrome." Made by German company Happich. Get it from my dealer, Gateway Big Dog Motorcycles in St. Louis. Works great!

Though I've never tried it, others have had good results with oven cleaner....run a search and you should find more detailed info.

If its not rust pitting, the best I have used is Diamond Brite Tool Box polish from Lowe's. This stuff works great on aluminum and chrome.

If you want to try Blue Job I sell it here. Stuff works real good and is non abrasive so it won't scratch or dull the finish. A number of guys on the forum use it.:2thumbs:
