heat shield cracked

hi guys!!! have a little problem. put on new V/H 2-1 exhaust on my PRO-SPORT in july this yr, and noticed the rear heat shield has about a 3 inch
crack today. anyone know where i can get new heat shields. called V/H
a while back about getting a neww heat shield on the front from a right turn, they tell me they no longer make this 2-1 exhaust. any ideas and/or help would be greatly appreciated!!! going to try and post a couple of pics.

I would wait till the snow flies his winter, remove the heat sheild, have someone with good welding skills repair it and have it re-chromed
