When you flip the switch to high beam does the low beam stay on also?

On the new 3 LED yes, on the normal H4, I'm gonna say no because vehicles do not have the low beam on when you switch to high.

The switching is to flip to a single filament. Either you are running a low 55w or high runs a 65w filament. Both ends tie to ground inside the bulb are those 3 prongs out the back of the bulb. Think when the low beam burns out the high is still good.
