Headlight issue

Ok. Here is my issue. (04 Ridgeback with PDM kit) I had the melted H4 plug. Just received the LED bulb and ceramic plug from Wild steed worx (Thanks Capt America). Install complete. Only have high beam. regardless of switch. Checked power at plug. Low beam goes off (0 volts) when switched to high and goes on (13 volts) when switched to low. High beam go on (13 volts) when switched to high and remains on (13 volts) when switched to low.
Where do I start to look?
I checked the under tank connection. They look good. I didn't un-shrinkwrap them to check power because I had eliminated the plug and soldered them and shrinkwrapped them a year ago.
Is it my left hand board? [scratching head]

Use another H-4 bulb to see if it works, high n low, maybe just a bad LED bulb

I did the test without the bulb. Just test the plug. I'm thinking that the hi and low cables need to be swapped. That way the low will be constant and hi will be switchable. Am I correct?

Get back with Curtis. Sometimes the low beam doesn't pull enough current and the EHC thinks it's burned out so it defaults to high beam. That happened to Blacktopper with his '07 K9, and Curtis sent him another brighter one that drew a bit more current. Hello low beam.
I bought the spare from Blacktopper and put it in my 08 K9 and it worked perfectly.

well I swapped the hi for the low. Now I have both. Except switch wise, hi is low and low is high and the high beam indicator stays on. This is how it was before the meltdown of the h4 plug. The PO had installed a HID light. Maybe he switched something somewhere. Even though it currently works the way that it is I would still like to track down where the two had been switched and rectify it.

My bike has all 3 wires, but I dont have any switches on my bars. and my bike is strait wired.

I am curious what the wireing should be so I can put in a toggle switch under the tank or somewhere hiden, but reachable so i can have Hi beam if i need it?

Low beam wire color?
Low beam Voltage?
High beam wire color?
High beam Voltage?

The voltage should always be the same. In the 13 volt ballpark. I can check mine later but I believe the low was white and the high yellow.

so leaving my head light bucket is 3 wires. makes since. somwhere under the tank it goes to 2... and then those 2 are wired in..

so when on High beam is it just 2 hots, and then when you go back to lows, its just one hot?

I have the big LED bulb from curtis and all 3 LEDs are lit up.
