Well I originally bought one from Curtis, it took a dump and he replaced it, then the one he sent me broke off in the bucket, so I been running the standard bulb for the last 6 mo. or so, then my good buddy Ker sent me this one he had from DOC, definitely brighter than stock, Thanks Ker! I bought one of those super bright LEDs and it will make the street signs glow on line but I think I'm going to try one of those Daymaker light Eric Th3InfamusI was taking about to see if it's more focused.

5-3/4 5.75 Inch Daymaker Projector LED Headlight for Harley Davidson Motorcycles Headlamp 45W Chrome https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019ETNZD6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_NfMqybR9KS9JX

Its in the bike no miles yet, but I will say just in the garage with the lights off I can tell the light is more focused in front whereas the h4 led would put light on the ceiling which won't help us any going down the road.

I'm hopeful this one lasts longer too since the unit is completely sealed and no fan. Time will tell, but I haven't had luck with any h4 led replacements anyways.

If the one Ker just sent me fails, it would be the third led to screw up on me in less than a year! So if that happens, then this looks like something I'd like to try, keep us posted on how it works once you actually use it.

My docs one is all loosey goosey I have it on the shelf now. There's a pin that holds the front and back part together and that just wore out in 1,000 miles. So the light would bounce around going down the road.

I have faith in this new unit but I probably won't have any serious miles on it till spring. Only 50 here today

Thanks for the link. I think i'll try this one out and see what happens. I bought 2 LED lights from Curtis for my bikes last year and both are still working fine but I like this doesn't need a fan. The new Harley needs a brighter light cuz you need a flashlight to see if it's on....

It's brighter than Curtis light it's 4000 lumens on high vs 2800. It's a nice light and yes it's nice no bullshit fans and the unit is completely sealed.

Not to mention the price is right

I did not have an issue, it was an adjure bucket like stock but no visor. I am certain it will fit in a stock bucket too.

The key is the lock pin is at 3pm on the light on my admire bucket the locking part is moveable so I moved it to 3 pm and the headlight locked right into place.

Kel, I don't know yet cause like Eric said the DOC led is all "Loosey Goosey" in the mounting bracket, I did use some piano wire to hold it in place better so we will see if it bounces around or not, If it takes a crap and when I can afford to I think I will go with the one Eric has, it's a sealed unit and yes, No Fan!
