Messed up first attempt to reply! Just a thought, but is there any chance someone has put some kind of clear coat on them ?

I have the same problem with the from wheel on my 04. I test a lot of different products and I think some of them get impregnated in to the aluminum, and it is hard to get them out. Get some 0000 steel wool, and wet sand a spot, then go back with the Mothers, using a rubber gloves to apply, the polish it with a soft t- shirt.

First, make sure they are not chrome. If aluminum, you may want to try sanding them with what ever grade paper removes the haze, then working your way up to 2500 paper, followed by your choice of polish. For me, I first use the regular mother's, followed by the Mother's Billet.

I used mother’s billet on the wide spot where the strut attaches over and over with out any luck (latex gloves and t-shirt) I grabbed my aluminum cleaner brightener that I use to make my aluminum stock trailer look new and put a couple of drops on a spot and then polished on that spot for awhile no luck. Thought I’d ask here before I break out the sand paper they look about 100% better now but there still pretty dull you can see a reflection in them but it’s not very clear.

I think you need to remove them and machine polish them. You will not be able to shine those up by hand.

I’ve got it looking good I’m just wondering how long do you rub the mother’s in? And once it turns black do you stop or keep rubbing? Or wipe it off and do it again that’s what I’ve been doing .. sometimes it doesn’t turn black no matter how long I rub it or how long it sits I generally do about 5 inches at time. That takes a bout 3 minutes to do five inches.. just don’t know how y’all do it

Rub it till it starts to feel good, then rub a little longer. Wipe with one cloth, the polish with another. The more you rub the better it will come out.

The guy at Mother's told me to make sure the polish stays wet. Get a spray bottle of water and mist it if it dries out.

You all have probably seen these before, but just in case someone else hasn't.
