Guys,

Those from Mississippi... I just found out my yellow K9 came from there... just wondering if by any chance someone knows it?

This is how it was when I picked it up after a few legal mods required, like the f...ng number plate holder on the rear fender :bang:

Hey Franco,
All I see is the dreaded red "x". I do recall seeing a yellow K9 that was just north of Hattiesburg that a bar owner kept inside his bar for quite a while. If I recall, it also had purple flames. Try posting the picture again. I also remember hearing that his bike was for sale, but never heard if it sold. The bar was soon purchased by another individual, so I'm sure the bike ended up somewhere. The man that owned it appeared to be around 65 years old. Sound familiar? Deep South Cycles was the Big Dog dealership in Hattiesburg but they shut down and moved to Petal, MS, about 15 miles NE of town. Same guy owns that business, but obviously, they don't sell Big Dogs anymore. I would think it's a good chance that your bike may have been initially sold through his business. His number is 601-583-0101. Just exactly what are you trying to find out about that bike?

Maybe they were black. It sat inside the bar and it was kinda dark in there. I would guess the owner either had a Hattiesburg or Sumrall, MS address. Did you ever meet or see the owner? I never heard the bike crank and never saw the owner riding it.

Negative. I bought it from an Importer in Spain.

Maybe it's just my work PC. I'll take a look at the pics when I get home on my laptop. If it's the bike I'm thinking about, I really can't tell you much, seeing how I never heard or saw it running. Is there something in particular you were trying to find out about it....other than the cam size?

Nothing in particular... just curiosity in general. Well... if it is the same bike and the owner had it sitting inside the Bar... maybe it is true it only had 800 miles!!! that is what the speedo was showing when I bought it, but I never believed it could have such a low mileage!!!

If it's the original analog speedo, I would guess it's probably reading correct. Anyone that replaces the speedo with a Dakota Digital can list any milage they want as a starting point. Then, after so many miles, it is locked from changing again.
