I have not YET. But OMG its so embarrassing I am afraid to honk it. I don't think they could get more wimpy sounding of they tried!!! Interested in replies to this thread too.......

Yep, did it to my Ultra. I can make an old lady jump a lane in heavy traffic! They have an air pump motor . So when you wire them in the horn button actually energizes a solenoid opens a circut that energizes the air motor. It's about 250 DBL.

I might as well disconnected mine. I have not had a horn whimmy or not since I went to wire plus. The horn works I just ain't getting any juice to it.

Come across a new generation of cycle horn. It was originally marketed via Kickstarter and is now available on it's
website >>>> Screaming Banshee. 123 plus decibels at a fairly decent $$. Years ago I had gone with the Stebel air horn and it's still working just fine. I remember at the time I installed the Stebel that I wished that it had been a little more compact so maybe this one would do the trick, should the Stebel ever fail.

Interesting. I ended up buying the bad boy like I posted above. I never found a good home for it so it's just sitting on the shelf. It wouldnt fit behind the desire cover and also won't fit underneath between frame like I did on other bikes.
