I pulled the push rod and ball ramp assy off... when I move the cable I can see the push rod move a little. I'm trying to find a parts breakdown for the clutch lever housing but I can't seem to find anything the the service manual. I think I may have lost something out of the lever assembly but if I don't know what's supposed to be there I can't tell what's missing. I don't want to rip into my ball & ramp assy yet until I know I didn't lose something easier to fix in the lever area.

So... as I am trying to figure this out... I have the push rod / ball & ramp assy off I tried to see if I can put it in gear and I can move thru the gears but the bike won't go into gear at all.. nothing seems to be binding up in the shifting but I wanted to see if I can put it in gear so it won't roll and it won't grab so does anyone have any suggestions? I mean I can tow it to a shop but I wanted to try any resolve this myself if possible as I don't know of any big dog capable shops in my North jersey area.

So... it seems I'm not missing anything on the lever side.... does anyone know much about the clutch/transmission? Should I be able to move thru the gears without it going into a gear if that makes sense.... it seems as tho my clutch it stuck open with the push rod completely removed.

You should be able to put it In gear without the clutch while on the stand. If you rotate the tire slowly you should be able to shift through all the gears.

If not take off the primary cover and see if it's binding and the clutch hub nut didn't fall off.

Well here's an update... took my bike to a shop who only works Harley / American bikes...he said my main shaft broke. So he did research and found they knew the 2005 and up had an issue with the clutch pack being soo heavy so they made an upgrade kit which includes the main shaft. So about $1500 later I should have her back in a few weeks. My only concern is the guy gives me a 30day warrantee on his labor. I pick the bike up it's going to be crappy weather and I won't ride it much to ensure it works properly. Any suggestions? I mean I guess I can suck it up and ride it in freezing temperatures but I kinda would rather be able to put a good amount of mileage on it to make sure nothing works itself loose if you know what I mean.
