VP - Bikers Reaching Out
I have always been in need of additional storage for the long distance riding
I love to do, but there are minimal options out there that I found...
I first bought a set of leather saddlebags and threw them on the Dog... They rubbed the shit out of the frame in a few locations, and didn't give me much more storage.
The next trip I planned I decided to add the sissy bar, luggage rack, T Bag, and then I used to load up the passenger seat with a duffle bag that looked like I was carrying a body :2thumbs:
Then I started thinking there has to be a better way...
I started looking at Hard Moulded Saddlebags and trying to figure out what I would need to do to make something fit on my Hardtail.
This is what I came up with.
I am currently working on some sheet metal covers to fill the 2" gaps from the bags to the brackets, I need to find a home for my tag, and I need to mount the strip LED's to the Saddlebags... Currently the Tail/Brake/Turn signals are an 18" smoked LED strip along the rear fender...
Let me know your thoughts
