Does anyone know the actual manufacturer of the handlebars on a 2003 Pitbull?

Yes, I answered it in your first post. What are you looking for? Replacements, something different. I changed mine out on my 03 cause I don't like having low bars around my knees. I went to 8" straight rise drag bars from Wild 1 "Chubbys". Made it a lot more comfortable for the long runs.

Sorry, My first post was just the introduction so I didn't bother to check for replies as this is my first time and I was checking out the other forums.
Anyway, I don't mind the OEM bars, but I currently attempted to replace the grips with a set from Choppers Inc. and they wouldn't go over the bars. I measured the bars and the new and old grips and the parts guy from Choppers wanted to know who the manufacturer was. Thanks.

Cool, just remember to ensure you have clearance on the tank from your throttle control cables.
And make sure your HD style controls will go over the bars meaning make sure they are the same size. I think if I remember correctly the 03's are 1 1/4".
Lots of variations out there so do your homework. Carlini's has all the dimensions on there site for your bars.

Actually the bars' outside diameter is 1.003 and the inside diameter of the old grips is 1.025. Unfortunately, the inside diameter of the Choppers Inc. grips is only 1.009 so they don't go on. I have a friend who owns and operates a very elaborate machine shop so it won't be a problem to get them honed out to the correct diameter. Thanks for the manufacturer info., I appreciate it!
