Thought I'd share my almost trajic expierience with yall..

Last day I was home the weather wasnt half bad so after I got done wrenching on my fourwheeler I checked over the dog and hit the road headed to a friend of mine's place to help him pull the transmission out of his mustang.Everything was goin good, dog was runnin good.I stopped and held out my left arm to signal my turn and sat there for what seemed like forever waiting for a break in traffic to cross across the other 2 lanes and into my bud's driveway.I dont like sittin out in the road at a dead stop for very long and finally I see an opening. An opening I might not have chose had I not been sitting there so long, but still PLENTY of time to get where I needed to be.So I gave er some gas,let off the clutch and the SOB sputtered HARD and almost died right there in the middle of the SOB'in road cars comin and all:eek:  ! I thought it completely died so I'm flintstone'in like a mutha to get to the other side and it backfired and off I go again:roll: Kinda puttered on down the driveway and had to get off and check my pants and thank the big guy for those last few drops of fuel..Anyhow lesson learned I hope.I'll try to keep the tank as full as possible from now on:lol: :2thumbs:

Look for me on the road.
That's crazy!! I always worry about running out which makes me fill up at around 75 miles. It's a pain in the ass on long trips. Good to know you're alright.

Good thing you have fast feet!

Wouldn't a fuel gauge be a nice option.

Oh...and what did you find when you checked the shorts??? You didn't say....

Ain't learnin' a bitch!!! :bang:

Have you done the one yet where wait and wait and wait to pull out. You finally get a small window of opportunity, jump on the gas, let out the clutch, and get out into the middle of busy street just in time for the bike sputter and die because you forgot to turn on the gas? :loony:

I hate when that happens!!! :D
