Good Vibrations ....

A few months ago I bought my bike knowing I was going to have to do some work on it to get it road worthy. The thing I did not expect was how much these bike vibrate. I mean a chick could sit on the bike and play with the throttle and have an orgasm. As I am riding down the street my glasses vibrate on my head.
Is this normal or can I do something to tone down the vibrations?

What year and model? I ride an 07 mastiff and it vibrates yes, but not obnoxiously. Ofcourse the only thing I have to really compare it to is super smooth running sport bikes.

If it’s over the top vibrating you may want to check your motor mount bolts and transmission bolts. They do vibrate with power but just something to keep in mind

after doing what Paul said, get you some "dyna beads" and put 1oz. in the front tire and 2 oz. in the back tire if you don't already have them.

I think this is what concerns me the most. The bike is 16yrs old with only 3550 miles on it so it has sat most of its life. All of the vibration is coming from the motor. I wonder if a rear engine mount that I cant see is loose or the rubber might be bad. I think in my setup the engine and trans are bolted together because I don't see any trans bolts from underneath the bike like some of you guys have been showing on the K-9. This is a totally different setup.

You should be able to see all the mounts on the motor. 2 in front and 2 in the rear with one on top to the frame. Easy to check
The trans should be able to be seen from the bottom, I can’t remember your model but if you remove the shocks or oil tank on a pitbull ridge you should be able to see them.

There is 50 G"s of viberation at the battery box and triple trees. This is normal for these bikes
Man I thought this bike would ride a lot smoother. It even came with Bags and I'm pretty sure it came from the factory like that. I was thinking it would cruise a lot better because of that, like made for longer rides. I could be wrong though. Live and learn.

Mine vibrates more than any Honda or Triumph I've ever been on. The mirrors vibrate but not too bad. My hand grips do not vibrate to buzz your hands and my glasses on my face do not vibrate. My gas tank vibrates pretty good at certain high speed RPMs but I'm going to work on the grommets to get this under control. Yes, I have some vibration but it isn't anywhere near bad. So, I think if your bike is vibrating real bad, then something needs attention.

Thanks Butch, new grips are in my future but most of my vibration is coming right up through the seat. I am going to have it checked out and I think I will get the seat recovered with extra padding while Im at it.

Thanks grizfish I have been thinking the same thing.

What do you guys think about this product or is it just better off trying to go stock.

Not cheap, but those should be good taking care of the vibrations!
