What's wrong with the bike.
Shannon may be just as knowledgeable and honest but I can assure you that no one out there is more so than Knothead but heck I’m partial because he has done me right and then some every time I go to his shop. Never intended to take away from the other master wrenches on here. I respect them all. Hopefully you will find a respectable wrench near you. Best wishes and thank you to all the wrenches who keep our dogs on the road.
Just took a look at google maps and, yes, it does show that you are at least a 8 hour drive one way from knothead, but the more work that is needed, the more justification for the trip. And this is by no means meant as a slight towards Shannon. I have no personal experience with either of these two fine gentlemen, just going by the glowing accolades for both.
I bow to Knotheads knowledge and abilities. And don't want to take anything away from him. Just giving Billy another option.
We were each giving Billy our opinion. There is plenty of opportunity for others to give their opinions as well. You should have offered your services as well.
I’m sure curious as to what is wrong with the bike…. Could be something he could fix himself…hopefully we can collectively get him back on the road. There’s alot of great wrenches on this forum. Kudos to them all!
