:flag: Tomorrow I journey back home to Salina, Kansas for a family funeral (grandma) and I'm flying in/out of Wichita. Thursday morning I've scheduled a tour of the BDM factory before I depart for SLC...has anyone else toured the factory?

The tour looks pretty cool...I'll post pics when I return.

You'll have a great time. Check out the shirt rack -- they have stuff there that never gets to the dealers. Take lots of pics !!

Another adventure

After a 15 months, we've decided to ride the Dogs back to the original puppy farm.:flag: The second week of May I'm headed to Denver to meet up with my dad and younger bro and the three of us are riding our dogs across Kansas. About 1,100 miles round trip. We are stopping by the factory for a second tour (http://www.bigdogbiker.com/forums/general/2561-big-dog-world-hq-tour-5.html.

My dad is getting tuned up on his new 08 K-9; my bro rides an 07 K-9 and I ride the 06 K-9. We depart from Denver and ride to Salina the first day, visit relatives and then off to Wichita the next day. After the tour we will drive through Dodge City and Garden City on our way back to Denver over the following day and a half. I'm really looking forward to making the trip with my dad and bro...good times ahead. I will post pics of the ride, tour and hopefully take a few pics of the remaining BDM employees.:(

Better get there in the morning. They're only building 3 bikes a day. After lunch, the assembly line is a graveyard. Sorry 'bout your grandma.

I live in KC and I have actually rode my bike 4hrs down there just for some warranty work to get done. If you go to the service center see Doug he is the MGR. He is a great guy and tell him Del told him to take you to lunch!!

No kidding...three bikes per day  Damn business must be VERY slow. This economy has a long way to go before BDM will see an increase in business. Discressionary spending is at an all time low :(
