I look at it this way, if you're going 60+ miles an hour down the freeway and go down a helmet probably isn't going to save you but going down in town at a low speed you will have a better chance if you have one on. You have a much better chance of getting hit in town then on the open road.Freedom of choice. I wear one now, it saved my life. But I'm also from Pa so I didn't where one then. Feels much freer not wearing one then does. If I'm just zipping around town or going to bike night, I'd like to go without. My.

I don't need to calm down cause I'm not angry for any reason. He quoted me so his comment was geared to me. Had it been a generalized comment for the forum, such as this one, I would have said nothing. Thanks for your opinion.. And yes everyone is entitled to their own perspective..

Come on Tony. Stick around, there was a time when I first signed up here, that I thought I had offended a few others.
I was about to quit coming here until I found out that they were just teasing me.
