GEL OR FOAM

For those that had their seats redone, did you go with foam or gel or both. I'm going to need the most comfortable option for my 2up or the wife will have to walk..lol

Both for our 2-up. Its a very copmfortable seat. Haven't taken it more than 300 miles in day yet, but its feel like I could ride it much further.

I have Gel on both, the HD & the BDM. Front and two up. My wife say's it made the difference in riding 2 hrs a day to 8 hrs a day. The Big Dog seat has also been cut down and the back support was cut into the seat, then the gel pad was added, then recovered with Alligator. Look at the pic's it is very noticable. Total cost $380.00. Makes 6-8 hr rides much more easier. The HD Ultra Classic, I had the seats front & back gel packed & recovered in Ostrich.

I have both with the gel on the bottom covered by memory foam. Also had it widened and built up on the sides so I could get off of my tailbone.
