The weather her in SC wasn't to bad yesterday with the temps in the 50's! As many of you know my pup is being rewired and the EHC removed so I decided to take a little afternoon ride on the Harley! I pull into a gas station and what should pull in besides me but a BD Chopper! So I start talking to the guy and asking him about his pup which turned out to be a 2006 Chopper. Ask him how he likes it and if he has had any problems. He tells me that he loves the bike and has had no problems at all! So I proceed to tell him about my 03 and the electrical issues and how we are trying to rectify them.
Well he laughs and tells me that his first BD was a 2002 (I'm forgetting what model he said at this moment, lol) that was in the shop a total of 17 times for different electrical issues before catching fire in his driveway and burning up. He said that when the insurance settled he used to money as a down payment for the 06 and has been happy.
Guess it goes to show some are "dogs" and some are "pups!"
