Gas cap

I have a 2006 K9 and when I went to gas yesterday my paint saver came off with my gas cap. My question is should I try reinstalling the paint saver or can I buy a standard Harley gas cap. Thanks for any information. Bob

depends on what you want... there are alot of fuel caps out there for HDs..

you can do either or,i removed mine and used harley caps.there is a tool that makes reinstalling the paint saver,if you dont have one a plastic wedge and mallet will do.may even use a spaner wrench.you may also have a vent tube that may be in the way for the harley caps.just sayn
